To solve the client’s consistency and capacity issues, we designed a customized Cocoa Bean Mesh Belt Roasting Machine. Unlike direct-fire drums, this system utilizes a hot air circulation method. The beans are fed onto a moving stainless steel mesh belt and pass through multiple heating zones.

In the first zone, low heat gently removes surface moisture; in the subsequent zones, higher temperatures develop the complex chocolate flavors. We integrated a variable speed drive into the automatic roasting equipment, allowing the client to fine-tune the roasting time based on the moisture content of different bean batches.

The line concludes with a cooling section to stop the roasting process immediately, locking in the flavor.
